Northend United 6 Colin Valley 2 Friday 19th April 2024

The start to the game was high pressure from Northend for the first 10 minutes being frustrated by an excellent Colin Valley goalkeeper. Cahir McAllister opened the scoring with great pace down the wing to get away from the defender a with a great strike from a tight angle. 5 minutes later Cahir slotted in another after great passing from Jamie Butler and William Lowry.
Caolan Logan got on the scoresheet just before half time with low driving shot into the net to make it 3-0 and give the Blues a good cushion at half time. If not for Colin Valleys brilliant goalkeeper the halftime score could have been a lot more. Half time 3-0

Into the 2nd half and the Blues started off very slow and Colin Valley pressured them for it for 10 minutes to score 2 quick goals to make it 3-2 and back in the game. However, the young Northend team dug in with a special mention to William Lowry who was the engine of the team and played a man of the match performance to keep the Blues ship steady. It was an end to end game at this point until Northend won a free kick which was scored by Cahir McAllister into the top corner to make it 4-2 and he then added his 4th goal of the night a few minutes later with another brilliant strike also in the top corner.
With a few mins left on the clock Northend's Jamie Butler got the ball on the wing and with fantastic skill he side step his defender and thundered it into the net to get Northend’s 6th of the night. Full time 6-2
